Worktop Bolts

These days when fixing work stops together, most people want to see a smooth dirt free joint. Worktops are fitted together with routed joints, which are bolted together to close up tightly. Before tightening, the joints are generally coated with a sealant to prevent the intake of moisture and then a silicone seal is applied topped with a colour matching filler. The bolts used are a special design which fit into recesses routed into the underside of the work top. These bolts vary greatly in price and even at Trade prices, often top £1.20 per bolt. We currently hold a generous supply of these bolts, which are keenly priced. Take a look at our worktop bolts.

MDF Backing Boards for Picture Frames or Craft Work

Do you ever find it hard to get thin MDF picture backing boards? We stock 3mm MDF, which we cut to A4 size to fit the commonly used picture frames available. Most suppliers only sell full sheets of 3mm MDF, which the average person cannot accommodate or cut. Other sizes are available and can be requested through our support e-mail address. We normally pack in quantities of ten, to reduce overall postage charges. MDF has many uses besides picture frames and can be made into all kinds of projects, such as stars and diamond shapes for sticking to doors or walls for decoration or making boxes or letter racks. MDF takes glue very well, which can be but jointed and held together with tape till the glue dries. The item can then be painted, or covered in material to finish it. See our MDF boards on our site.

Architrave Corners

When fitting Architrave, it is often very hard to get really good joints on the Mitres, making it necessary to gap fill in order to hide bad workmanship. This product that we offer makes fitting Architrave much easier as only simple butt joints are required. These Architectural Rosettes are made from water resistant MDF and take paint or stain really well. They can be used with al types of Architrave, as the Rosette can be fitted centrally or to one side or other of the centre. Fixing can be done with screws or nails, filling over the fixings to hide them, although the best method is to use the thick white glues that come in gun tubes, such as "No Nails" These have become one of our best sellers, due to there low price, being around a third of the price of our competitors. We also offer discounts on orders over £25, reducing the price even further. For further details, why not visit our site. For further details see our Achitectural Rosettes on our site.

Magic Wands

Since the reshowing of Harry Potter, there has been a lot of interest in "Magical" items, including "Magic" Wands. We have recently added Magic Wands to our range of product, which are made from recycled Mahogany and hand finished. I have given them to my children and grandchildren and they have hours of fun with them, re-enacting spells from the film. There are many different types available in the market place, but they are very expensive to buy and adding postage makes them more so. Our Magic Wands are keenly priced and include the postage. Hammer Head walking Stick

Take a look at our new hand made walking sticks with a novel design hand grip. The grip is in the style of a claw hammer and is made from re-cycled Mahogany. The stem has a Rope Twist design at the top end giving the walking stick real character.

The sticks are hand finished with Danish oil which allows the timber to breath naturally and if it should become scratched, it is just a simple action of wiping the stick with an oily Rag (Danish Oil) to return it new appearance.
